About The Cazadero

Nestled along the scenic Clackamas River, The Cazadero Steakhouse is more than just a dining destination—it’s a cherished landmark in Estacada. Once known as The Cazadero Inn, this beloved establishment has been a favorite for locals and travelers alike, offering breathtaking views and an unforgettable dining experience. Our menu features a carefully curated selection of five-star dishes, from indulgent berry pancakes to expertly house-smoked prime rib, all crafted from scratch using the finest ingredients.

Since acquiring The Cazadero in May 2018, Estacada resident Sherry Andrus has poured her heart into preserving its legacy while enhancing the experience for every guest. For Sherry, The Cazadero holds special memories—one of her earliest visits was a wedding anniversary dinner, where she and her husband enjoyed a meal by the river, mesmerized by a family of raccoons passing by the window. Today, visitors from across the country come not only for the incredible food but also for the warm hospitality and stunning riverside setting that make every visit special.

A Taste of History at Every Visit

Experience Estacada’s past through our 20-foot model railroad village, a tribute to the town’s rich heritage.

A Legacy of History

The name "Cazadero" traces back to the early 1900s, when the area—just two miles outside of Estacada—was home to a bustling train station near the Cazadero Dam. The station served as a gateway for Portland residents seeking the natural beauty of Estacada, as well as a key stop for loggers and dam workers.

Committed to honoring this rich history, Sherry is bringing the past to life inside The Cazadero Steakhouse. In collaboration with the Mt. Hood Model Railroad Club and the craftsmanship of her parents, she is developing a stunning 20-foot model railroad village at the restaurant’s entrance. Set to debut soon, this intricate display will capture the charm of Estacada in the 1920s, offering guests a glimpse into the town’s storied past as they step in to create new memories of their own.
